With only 8 weeks until the start of Homearama, we’re looking at N227, built by UberGreen Spaces & Homes.
UberGreen, owned by sustainability designer and progressive builder Sy Safi, was founded with the mission that each project should be “socially just, culturally rich, and ecologically restorative.” Accordingly, UberGreen’s focus is on building spaces that improve health and well-being, while also being cost effective and restoring our natural environment. UberGreen plans to encompass those ideals in its show home, N227.
N227 is a two-story brick Italianate with a 2nd and 3rd floor rooftop garden deck. The lower level boasts a walkout basement, and in total, the home has approximately 3700 square feet of finished space. Green upgrades include solar panels on the rooftop garden deck, toxin-free finishes, insulation under the floor and in the walls and roof for all-season efficiency, and rainwater collection into a tank to be used for irrigation.
N227’s designer is Sandra Perry of Honest Home, and N227’s architect is Clive Pohl of Pohl Rosa Pohl. Additional information can be found on this home below:
