Join us each Monday until Homearama 2016 as we introduce a builder a week, along with that builder’s interior designer, and some information about each Homearama home – including a sneak peek of home renderings! This week, we discuss Simpson Builders, Inc.
Simpson Builders, Inc. is owned and operated by Mark Simpson. A Louisville native and St. X graduate, Mark has been in the new construction industry for over 20 years and has held many leadership positions in the Building Industry Association of Louisville. He has been a member of the Norton Commons Builders Guild since 2011, when he was introduced to the neighborhood through his 2011 Homearama entry.
For Homearama 2016, Mark is constructing a 1.5 story home on lot N208 with a first floor master and 3 large bedrooms and 2 full baths on the second floor. Of course, this home will have the conveniences and cost-savings of all-geothermal heating and cooling – like the rest of Norton Commons’ North Village. The finished square footage in this home totals 3,237 and is all above-grade. Mark’s designer for 2016 is Tracie Stoll of Cleverly Inspired, whose creative designs have been featured in Good Housekeeping, Country Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Seventeen, and CNN Living, among other publications. Mark and Tracie make a great team as Mark built Tracie’s personal home just a couple of years ago. Simpson Builders, Inc. promises to have a must-see 2016 Homearama entry, with beautiful attention to detail and efficient design elements.
