Norton Commons to Host “Late Summer Luxe” on August 16

Refined finds. One last indulgence before the season turns. 17 local boutiques, restaurants and service providers offering promotions and events

PROSPECT, Ky. (July 29, 2025) – Norton Commons, the vibrant shopping and dining destination in northeast Louisville, will host Late Summer Luxe on Saturday, August 16, a neighborhood-wide end-of-season event featuring exclusive promotions and elevated experiences from 17 local boutiques, restaurants, and service providers.

“August is an ideal time to shop – retailers are making room for fall inventory, and there are great pieces to be discovered,” said Sarah Herner, owner of Liz and Roo, a participating boutique. “The collective energy of these events always draws a crowd and reminds people of the charm and quality that small businesses bring at can’t-miss prices.”

Capping off the day, Watch Hill Proper will host the 3rd Annual American Whiskey Festival from 4 to 10 p.m. in North Village Square. The free, outdoor event will feature live music from Tony & The Tanlines and other local acts, along with food trucks, a vendor marketplace, and a cigar lounge for guests 21 and over.

Guests 21 and over can purchase tasting access to the Whiskey Garden ($50), featuring unlimited pours from more than 30 American distilleries, or the Wine Walk Experience ($35), offering curated selections from top U.S. wine regions. A Combo Pass ($75) includes both. A limited number of VIP tickets ($250) include early entry, chef-curated food, specialty cocktails, and access to a private lounge inside Watch Hill Proper.

Tickets and full details are available at whpfestival.com.
